Russian Bilingual Business Forum

On April 4, 2003 the Rancho Cordova Business Information Center, in conjunction with California Capital Financial Development Corporation and the Stockton Blvd. Business Information Center, hosted a Russian Bilingual Business Forum at the Rancho Cordova Neighborhood Center. The purpose of the Forum was to provide business information from a variety of sources to Russian-speaking business owners.

The Forum was a big success and the Rancho Cordova Business Information Center would like to thank the following people and organizations for their help in putting on this event: US Bank for sponsoring the Business Forum, Joyce Keane, Vice President of Community Investments and Sheila Gomez, Branch Manager for the Rancho Cordova Office, US Bank, David Castaneda, U.S. Small Business Administration, Deborah Muramoto and Clarence Williams of California Capital Financial Development Corporation, Steve Sims of the Franchise Tax Board, Lawrence Tom of the Board of Equalization, John Carr, Ambassador for the Rancho Cordova Chamber of Commerce and Marina Heritage, Membership Director for the Rancho Cordova Chamber of Commerce, Alice Gee of the Stockton Blvd., Business Information Center, Bill Cooper of Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE), and Vlad Vecherkovskiy of the Russian Yellow Pages. Citrus Heights Plaza and Catering provided a buffet of traditional Russian food.

Finally a big thanks to the translators: Pete Shnaydman and Marina Salogub of the Sacramento County Office of Education and Larissa Fedishina of the Sacramento Chinese Community Service Center.
